Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick review (shade 01)

Hello Readers!

As many of you know I love Rimmel's lipsticks. So whenever I am in my local boots or superdrug I can't resist taking a look at what shades I haven't got yet.

This is when I found shade 01 which is your classic red colour that my camera does no justice for. This shade is beautiful and it looks great on pale skin tones. It is very easy to apply and does not need a lip liner to be applied before hand.

This lipstick lasts all day and it does not easily come off when drinking or eating. Like all of their lipsticks this is great value for money as it only costs £5.50 which is an amazing price for a high quality lipstick like this. This lipstick is not matte as it dries with a slight sheen to it which I love however if you are looking for your lipstick to be 100% matte this lipstick is not for you.

Overall this shade dresses up any outfit and makes me look classy and different which I love.

Summer Beauty Essentials!

Hello Readers!

Now that the sun is out more in the UK I thought I would show you all some of my summer beauty essentials!

Firstly a matte powder is a necessity in the summer as the sun just loves to melt the makeup off of my face! My favourite powder is Rimmels stay matte powder in the shade transparent as this makes my makeup last all day and it is great value for money.

Secondly a good bronzer is also essential for me in the summer time. I always get a great tan on my body however my face never really seems to tan. So I use soap and glory's solar powder bronzer. This is honestly the best drugstore bronzer I have ever used and I love it!

Because I have such dry skin an overnight moisturizer is an essential for me in the summer as my skin goes even dryer than usual! I am currently using Garnier's moisture restore and my skin loves it.

Next I would recommend a waterproof mascara so it doesn't melt down your face. My favourite is maybelline's lash sensational mascara as this gives you massive volume and length.

Finally my last summer beauty essential is a face sun cream as protecting your skin from the sun is so important. I have been using No7's protect and perfect which I do like however I wish the SPF could have been higher.

If you would like another summer essentials post (not beauty related) let me know in the comments or tweet me (@weekly_beauty) and I would gladly write one for you.

First Impression Review- Maybelline Colour Sensation Lipstick (shade 728)

Hello Readers!

I had been looking for a new lipstick to try for a while now when I came across Maybelline's  Colour Sensation Lipsticks. I picked up the shade honey beige (728) and I fell in love with it so I therefore brought it to review for you.

I am impressed with this product. This lipstick is very moisturising and doesn't dry my lips out whatsoever. If you are looking for a matte lipstick this lipstick is not for you as it has a noticeable sheen to it. This lipstick also lasts for a really long time and doesn't come off easily when eating or drinking ect. This product also has great pigmentation an only needs very little application to get the shade you desire.

This shade is a beautiful nude colour and it would be great to wear to school/work or just as a everyday lipstick.

This lipstick is great value for money as it only costs £6.99.

Overall if you are looking for a moisturising subtle lipstick this shade is for you.

A Nail Miracle?

My nails before using the product

My nails 1 week after using the product

Hello Readers!

I was recently wandering around my local B&M store when I saw a product that claimed to grow and strengthen your nails. Now this product was cheap as it only cost £1.29 and I thought that won't work.

However I wanted to give it a try anyway as my nails were very dry after removing my fake nails. I was impressed. This product contains vitamin E in it so my nails were very moisturised and they looked healthy. The vitamin E inside also caused my nails to grow quicker than they usually would and in the picture above was how my nails looked after just one week!

The product recommends that you apply it every other day and it can be applied under nail polish. By doing this I have found that my nail polish has lasted longer without chipping!

I can say that I am very impressed with this product and I would highly recommend it.

A New Chapter! (Life Update)

Hello Readers!

Firstly I would like to thank you all for being so understanding about why I haven't been as active on my blog as much as I would have liked. These past few months have been so stressful sitting exams after exams and it's an experience I am glad is finally over.

Now I have finished school and I have a nice long 11 weeks off for the summer I have a lot more time to work on expanding my blog. It is scary to think I am leaving my school as I did love it and all the lifelong friends I have made their but now it's time to start a new chapter in my life.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everybody luck with their exam results if you worked hard you will get the grades you deserve. However if your results are not what you hoped for don't worry. Your results do not define you as a person and life does go on. You can still get a good job, a nice house and a loving family with or without good exam results as long as you are determined and ambitious to achieve your dreams.  So whatever your results on results day just remember that you tried your best and that's all you can do, nobody should ever ask any more from you.

Good luck everyone and thank you for your support. Have a great summer break!

Best Drugstore Summer Nail Polishes!

Hello Readers!

Since summer has finally come to the UK I decided to purchase some summer nail polishes to try. These four nail polishes are my favourite that I picked up so I thought that I would review them for you. (The reviews go from left to right in the picture).

-Rimmel Rita Ora nail polish in the shade 'Sweet Retreat'-

I absolutely love the shade of this nail polish, it especially looks good with a tan. This nail polish lasts for ages without chipping (mine tended to last for a week). The brush is the perfect size for my nails as it covers them perfectly, leaving my nails streak free. This product is great value for money as it only costs £2.99.

-Barry M nail polish in the shade 'kiss me quick' -

This is a gorgeous shade of pink and again looks great with a tan. This nail polishes lasts days without chipping and leaves a streak free finish. This product is great value for money as it only costs £3.99

-Barry M nail polish in the shade 'need for speed'-

Again like all of Barry M nail polishes this shade is beautiful. It gives a great pop of colour which is perfect for the summer. Again this shade leaves a streak free finish as the brush is the perfect size for my nails. This product is great value for money as it only costs £3.99.

-Barry M nail polish limited edition shade-

This shade is beautiful and its such a shame that it is limited edition. This colour looks amazing with a tan. Again this leaves my nails chip and streak free for days. This product is great value for money as it only costs £2.99 however you may not be able to find it as it is limited edition.

Overall all four nail polishes scream summer and are the perfect nail polishes. Have you tried any of these nail polishes and are their any perfect summer nail polishes that you would recomend? Comment below!

Fake Nail Review- B&M

Hello Readers!

As many of you enjoyed my previous fake nail review post I decided to do another one for you. I was recently looking around my local B&M store and I saw these fake nails. They looked georgous and they were such a bargain (89p) so I had to try them.

I am not a massive fake nail fan but these were lovely. I loved how easy they were to apply as they only took about 10 minutes to do! They stuck on really easy and lasted a long time. The pack came with many different shapes and sizes to specifically fit your nails, there is a size for everyone. The pack even comes with a nail file so that you can shorten the length and alter the shape of your nails to fit your requirements.

These nails are great value for money and I would recommend them for nights out or weddings as they really only last for 1-2 days.

Garnier Summer Body Lotion Review!

Hello Readers!

Since summer is quickly approaching here in the UK I decided that I wanted to have a sun kissed glow to my skin. So I decided to try Garnier's Summer Body Lotion and I was impressed.

After applying my tan on the first day there was no streaks what so ever. However I did find that it went a little bit orange, so my advice to you is put a light layer on the first application. But after I carried on applying the gradual tan it didn't go orange what so ever. Instead I was left with a streak free natural tan.

I love the apricot scent of this product as it isn't too overwhelming. This product also keeps my skin moisturised for at least 12 hours and my skin absolutely loves it!

How I apply this product:

After I have my shower in the evening and I make sure my skin is completely dry, I apply the product on all of my body (except my face) leaving my knees, hands and feet until last. I let the product sink in for 2-3 minutes and then I wash my hands thoroughly ( important-so they do not turn orange). The product then works its magic overnight whilst I'm sleeping. Then in the morning I wake up to a golden sun kissed tan, so effortless! I usually apply this tan every two days as I only want a light tan effect.

If you feel like you have put too much tan on and want a lighter tan, semi-removing the tan is easy! All you have to do is apply some body scrub and your tan will be reduced (not removed).

This tan is great value for money as a big bottle (that lasts a really long time) only costs £5.49. I brought my tan last month and I'm only half way through the bottle!

rating: 5/5
price- £5.49

Life Update: Where Have I Been?

Hello Readers!

A lot of you have been wondering why I haven't been posting recently or active on Twitter. So I thought I owed you an explanation.

When I set up this blog I knew that it would be hard to keep up with my school work whilst posting here. But I never fully realised how much work actually goes into blogging. I love blogging so much but it had started affecting my school work. I am currently sitting exams and I knew they had to come first. I realised that sitting Exams and trying to post weekly just wasn't going to happen.

No way did I want to give up blogging either so I knew that I would have to write posts in advanced or sometimes have to miss a day.

This won't last for long as my exams finish in about a month. Please don't take this as me giving up blogging, it just means that I will be posting less frequently. I hope you understand

Rimmel London Volume Colourist Mascara- Review

Hello Readers!

Since reviews are my most popular blog posts I decided to review Rimmel's new mascara. I saw this mascara advertised whilst watching TV and I thought no way that will work! But I decided to purchase it to see whether it worked to let you guys know.

I was impressed with this mascara. After just one week my lashes were a lot darker than they were before using the mascara. My lashes generally looked like I had had them professionally tinted. I was getting compliments on my lashes everyday!

I love the style of the wand that this mascara has. It is so easy to use as you can reach every individual lash.  As the wand is quite long and thick it ensures that your lashes do not clump together. This mascara is also very easy to remove.

This mascara makes my lashes long and fluttery. However it doesn't add much volume. I love my lashes to be long and voluminous. To overcome this problem I used this mascara as a first coating to my lashes then as a second coat I used Maybellines Lash sensational mascara. I loved pairing these mascaras together as the Rimmel mascara gave me length and separation whilst the Maybelline mascara gave me volume and definition. To see my full review of Maybellines Lash sensational mascara click here.

When I wear this combination of mascaras I get compliments everyday. I look wide awake and my lashes look defined and voluminous.

To summarise if you are looking for a natural whist lengthening mascara this mascara is definitely for you. If you would rather have a voluminous mascara pair these two mascaras together as they are the best mascaras (together) that i've ever used.

Pamper Evening Essentials!

Hello readers!

Nothing is better after a long day to run yourself a bath and put aside a couple of hours for some you time. In this time I like to pamper myself from head to toe!  I like to put aside time to pamper myself and to have a 'time out' from the rest of the world just to compose myself ready for the next week. Here are some of my favourite products to use during this time, enjoy!

1) St Ives Invigorating Body Scrub
This product has been a new addition to my pamper evenings and I can honestly say that I have fallen in love with it! This product leaves my skin feeling baby soft and leaves it with a radiant glow. this product is very affordable at only £5.49 a pot. and the pot lasts for a really long time! The smell of this product is lovely and now I can't live without it.

2) Imperial Leather 'love story' bath cream
I love this bubble bath for a relaxing soak. This product turns my bathwater into a light pink colour which I love (who doesn't love pink bath water!). This product has an amazing smell which helps me to relax. After I get out of the bath my skin is so smooth and hydrated. This product is great value for money as it only costs £1.99!

3) Sanctuary Spa 'cleansing burst' body wash
This body wash smells amazing. I wish this fragrance could be everywhere! Only a small amount of product is needed to get the job done. This again leaves my skin feeling baby soft and smooth. This product is good value for money at only £5.50 each.

4) montagne jeunesse 'Red Strawberry souffle' face mask
I love this brand for its face masks as they always do an amazing job and are great value for money. These face masks are so easy to use, just wait 15-20 minutes then wash off! I normally apply these masks whilst I'm in the bath then I wash it off just before I get out and voila I have healthy, smooth skin! These masks are great value for money at just £1 each!

After using these products my skin feels baby smooth and thanks me for it later! Tweet me or write in the comments your favourite pamper products either from this blog post or from your own collection!

Theme park survival kit!

Hello readers!

I was requested on Twitter to write a theme park survival kit blog post so here it is!

I absolutely love theme parks. The atmosphere and the rides are amazing. However I would never go to a theme park without my survival kit.

Firstly no matter the weather I would always wear sun cream to prevent damage to my skin. I always wear a special sun cream for my face as this is gentle on my sensitive face skin. Currently I am using the NO7 protect and perfect intense facial sun protection.

I would always recommend wearing a waterproof mascara in case of a sudden downpour or a water ride gets you soaking. I always carry around a face powder in case my skin gets oily during the day. My favourite is the Rimmel stay Matte powder. I would always wear a primer to make sure my makeup survives the whole day.

In case of downpours or getting soaking on water rides I always bring a waterproof coat. I brought a parka in a pocket. I love this as it keeps me dry whilst still looking fashionable. It is easy to carry around with you, no hassle needed. I brought mine from Primark for £5.

I definitely would always carry hair bands with me in case my hair gets wet or it starts to annoy me. Mine are from Primark.

Finally I would always wear comfortable shoes. I love wearing my converse.

If you want to request a blog post leave me a comment or tweet me (@weekly-beauty) and I will do that for you!

Primark false nails review!

Hello readers!

I brought a pack of Primark's false nails back in December but I never had the chance to apply them. I came across them last week and decided to try them out and review them for you.  I wasn't expecting much from these false nails as they only cost £1 and normally you pay for what you get.

I can say that I was impressed they lasted 24 hours without pinging off and looked incredible. However I was baking on the second day and they all came off, so they are not practical for everyday use.

I would recommend wearing these nails for nights out  as they look incredible but are not for everyday use. There is a big range of nails to choose from in store and for £1 you cant really go wrong.

The pack contained 24 nails of various sizes and came with a nail glue so it contained everything you need to apply the nails. The nails were very easy to apply and the glue was fast acting.

Why Did I Start Blogging? Q&A!

Hello Readers!

Recently I asked some of my lovely readers on twitter to ask me all of their life, makeup, hair and nails questions! I loved doing this so that I could see exactly what my readers wanted to know about me!

If you want to be a part of the next Q&A I do either leave your question in the comments or tweet me (@weekly_beauty). Enjoy!

Question 1- Lauren  - "what is your 'holy grail' makeup product?"

I absolutely love mascara. It changes everything on your face by making you look instantly awake and alert. My favourite all time mascara is Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara. This mascara gives great definition and length whilst being very affordable. If you would like to read my full review of this mascara: click here!

Question 2- Angela - "Should liquid liners be tossed every 3 months like mascara or keep using them until they run out?"

Ideally yes they should be thrown out every 3 months as just like mascara the applicator carries bacteria and leaves you at risk of getting an eye infection. This is also why you shouldn't share your eye products as you can carry bacteria from one eye to another and again be at risk of getting an eye infection. It can be expensive replacing your liquid liner every 3 months but it is worth it for your health!

Question 3- Chloe - "Why did you start blogging?"

I originally took inspiration from fellow bloggers and youtubers Zoella (Zoe Sugg) and Tanya Burr. When reading and watching them I thought I could do that, it looks fun. I also loved web design and connecting with people through social media so blogging was a perfect fit for me. I wanted to gain confidence in myself and the ability to achieve something that I could be proud of and also to feel a part of a community . So after months and months of convincing my parents I finally set up my blog on the 30th December 2015. I have loved every minuet of blogging and hopefully I will carry on for a long time.

question 4- 2 peas in a pod- "what do you see in the future of your blog"

It is my plan to continue blogging for a very long time and to steadily see my audience grow. I want my blog in the future to be the place where my audience can connect with me and each other in a friendly manner and to make friends for life.

Thank you for everybody who asked me a question! Don't forget to leave your questions in the comments or tweet me them (@weekly_beauty) to appear in my next Q&A.

My hair care routine!

Hello readers!

I have decided to share my haircare routine with you today. My hair is very healthy and silky and it is important to make sure it stays that way. With this routine my hair always looks and feels healthy.

Firstly, when washing my hair I use tresemme salon silk shampoo. I love this shampoo (as previously mentioned on my haircare tips post) as it contains argan oil.

I only wash my hair every 4 days and every time I wash my hair I condition it using Alberto balsam raspberry conditioner. I absolutely love this conditioner as it smells amazing and leaves my hair silky and soft. I only apply this conditioner on my ends so that my roots do not get greasy.

Then when I get out of the shower I use hair serum to help protect my hair from split ends and to make it easier to brush. This helps prevent breakage of the hair when brushing.

After that when brushing my hair I use a paddle brush as this is easier on knots and makes brushing my hair so much easier as it is very thick and long.

Finally after I have brushed my hair I never dry it with a hairdryer as this prevents heat damage. Instead I tie my hair into a low ponytail with a scrunchie and leave it to air dry naturally.

And voila you have healthy, silky hair!

Leave any tips you may have from your haircare routine in the comments I'd love to know!

L'oreal Paris True Match Foundation- First Impression review

Hello readers!

Recently I have purchased L'oreal's true match foundation as my old foundation had become to dark and I fancied a change of brand. So whilst shopping in my local supermarket I found a L'oreal counter where I found the true match foundation. I was intrigued by it as the foundation had promised a perfect match to any skin tone. I was surprised with the variety of shades offered as not many brands offer that many shades.

This foundation didn't disappoint. As promised the shade I brought (N1 Ivory) fits my complexion perfectly. The foundation glides on and is very easy to blend. The foundation is medium-low coverage but is easily buildable. Due to the foundation being very runny I would not recommend this product for oily skin but this foundation is perfect for dry skin like mine and it also means that very little product needs to be applied for the desired look. This foundation lasts all day (though I would recommend setting it with a loose powder) and does not cake up whatsoever. I am thoroughly impressed with this foundation and I would recommend it to others.

Revision tips

Cue cards

Spider diagram

Hello readers!

Since exam seasons are quickly approaching now I thought I would share how I revise with you to help/motivate you to revise! Yes I realise how boring revising is, I absolutely hate it! But these techniques help make revision less boring than normal.

Remember when revising to take breaks every 20-30 minutes

1)      Cue cards
Whether it’s just questions or answers on the cue cards or facts it really doesn’t matter. Small pieces of information  are easier to remember in the long run as oppose to reading massive pages of text, it won’t go in. I also colour coordinated my cue cards to each subject e.g. blue for maths. This helps your brain associate a subject with a colour and remember it easier.  You can purchase cue cards from just about anywhere e.g. Tesco, whsmiths etc.

2)      GCSE pod
This is a really good website to listen to if you don’t feel like doing hard core revision.  I like to listen to this in the morning whilst getting ready. This website is like listening to a teacher so if you like learning through a teacher this website is for you.

3)      Spider diagrams
I don’t do to well with mind maps as I’m not very good with art and most of the time I can’t understand my own drawings. So I summarise information onto a A3 sheet of paper. Make sure you use colour to associate it with the information.  Each branch should be a different colour and about a different topic.

Leave your revision tips in the comments to help others out!

My favourite drugstore nail polishes- Barry M

Hello Readers!

I have fallen in love with the Barry M nail polishes. They have a huge range of colours and shades for everyone's preference. They stay on my nails for weeks without chipping for days. These nail polishes can be found in both boots and superdrug and in some supermarkets. The barry M nail polishes are great value for money at just £2.99 each. The applicator is the perfect size for my nails so the end result isn't streaky or tacky. Your nails would look good with just 1 coat although I do recommend two coats for a shiny, professional look. There is no waiting around for the nail polish to dry as they tend to dry in around 2-3 minutes.

I would recommend these nail polishes.

My favourite Drugstore Eyeshadows

Hello Readers!

I have decided to share with you my favourite drugstore eye shadows that I have come across so far. These are the eye shadows I tend to reach for when I want to do a bold eye shadow look. All of these eye shadows are from the drugstore and are budget friendly.

-Maybelline colour tattoo in on and on bronze- £4.99
This product is great. The pigmentation is amazing but to make it last all day I would recommend using an eye primer. This products can be applied with your fingers if you are in a wish and still look flawless. This products would be great to use on its own or with a darker shade in the crease either way your winning!

-collection little mix all about the eyes palette- £3.19
This product is amazing value for money. All of the shades are very pigmented and last all day. I love the darer shades in this palette in my crease with maybelline's colour tattoo (on and on bronze) as my base. These shades are all shimmery which I love. They can all be applied with your fingers and are very easy to blend.

-Tanya Burr cosmetics, Galaxy Eye shadow palette- £6.00
I was very impressed with this product. Firstly I loved the packaging, very professional. All 4 shades are very pigmented and build-able. The shades can be applied with your fingers or a brush and blend with ease. This product is good value for money and can be found in superdrug. After purchasing this product it has made me want to go back and buy all of her range to try out for you. I Was amazed with how long the shadow stayed on for, this palette has the longest staying power of any eye shadows I have tried. The product packaging is small so is great for travelling and has a mirror inside so it is very convenient.

I would recommend all of these products.

Barry M nail polishes

Makeup brush cleanser

vo5 heat defence

Garnier moisture restore

Nail polish remover

Elegant touch rapid dry
Superdrug

Hello readers!

Recently I have been addicted to shopping in the Drugstores as they are such great value for money compared to higher brands. If you want me to review any of the products mentioned please let me know in the comments.

I brought two Barry M nail polishes from superdrug recently. The first shade I brought was called 'Almond' this grabbed my attention as it was a neutral colour. I thought this colour would be perfect for when you are trying to grow your nails as it isn't a noticeable, bold colour. The other nail polish I brought was a topcoat, base coat and nail strengthener in one. I brought this because I was interested if it did all of the things promised.

Next I brought a makeup brush cleanser to quickly clean my brushes in-between washes. I was interested to see weather this product worked and if my brushes remained in good condition.

Then I brought a heat defence from VO5. This claimed to tame frizz and flyaways whilst protecting the hair from damage during blow drying. I was interested in this product as my hair always goes really frizzy after I blow dry it.

I also brought Garnier's moisture restore night cream. I have extremely dry skin especially on my forehead so I was looking for a night cream to help my skin out. This product claims to revitalise skin which I definitely need.

I was running out of nail polish remover so I picked one up whilst I was in superdrug. Finally I brought  the Elegant Touch rapid dry for nails as I am very impatient when waiting for nails to dry. This products promises dry nails in one minute!

If you would like a review of any products comment below and I will do that for you!

Review: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Fatigue Blur Primer

Hello readers!

Recently I have purchased Maybelline's baby skin instant fatigue blur primer (such a long name!). I have heard mixed reviews about this product so I decided to give it a go myself.

This product is easy to blend into the skin and isn't oily at all. This primer helps my makeup last all day whilst making it look flawless and my face look healthier. This product also improves the way my skin looks without foundation as it looks more radiant, glowy and healthy. However I do think this product can be quite expensive if you are on a budget (like I am, student life). I would recommend this product.

Oven baked churros, do they work? Yes they do, and they taste amazing whilst being much better for you as no deep fat frying is involved in this recipe. This recipe is so simple and quick and taste just as good or even better than the deep fat fried churros.

What you will need:
ingredients:
-125g plain flour (all purpose flour)
-250ml water
-110g salted butter
-1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
-2 tablespoons of caster sugar (or brown sugar, either works just as great)
-2 eggs
-3 tablespoons of sugar (for coating)

Equipment:
-saucepan
-wooden spoon
-measuring jug
-teaspoon
-measuring scales
-baking tray
-piping bag
-baking paper
-an oven

1) preheat oven to 180 degrease. Then line two tins with baking paper. (mine took 2 baking trays but it depends on the size you decided to pipe your churros)

2) Melt together the butter and water bring this to the boil then add the vanilla extract, remove from the heat.

3) Stir in the flour. At this point your mixture should start looking like mashed potatoes, this is totally normal so don't panic. Keep mixing until the dough doesn't touch the sides of the pan.

4) Next stir in the caster sugar, keep mixing as you want to allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding the eggs so they don't scramble.

5)  Add in one egg at a time. Keep mixing to prevent the eggs from scrambling.

6) place the mixture in a piping bag and pipe equal sized churros.

7) bake for 15-20 minutes.

8) When they come out of the oven, coat them in the sugar (add cinnamon if you wish)

9) present your churros (I decided to present mine with melted chocolate, a yummy extra)

I would love to see your churros, send me a picture on twitter! @weekly_beauty

Review: Maybelline lash sensational mascara

Lash sensational: mascara wand

Lash sensational:Mascara wand

Hello readers!

Last week I gave into temptation and purchased Maybelline's lash sensational mascara. I had heard many great reviews of this mascara so I decided to try it out for myself this is what I think of it:

The wand is a perfect size for applying mascara, it is shaped like my eye so I can reach every eyelash equally. The mascara is a perfect black colour and it equally adds volume, length and definition to my lashes. It also doesn't clump the lashes together so it still looks natural. This mascara holds the curl of my eyelashes and stay defined all day which is perfect as there is no need to keep re-applying it throughout the day. This mascara only takes one coat to reach perfectly defined lashes.

However when applying this mascara some of the product did transfer onto my eyelid, this is the only  downside to this mascara. I would recommend this mascara.

Overall rating: 4/5
Price: £7.99

Have you tried Maybelline lash sensational yet?

Disappointing Products

Hello readers!

It can be really annoying to purchase a product that you think will be great and turns out to be really disappointing. By sharing my disappointing products this can happen less often.

Disclaimer: these products may not work for me but may work for you, this isn't to badmouth any makeup brand it is purely my own opinion.

Soap and Glory 'thick and fast' mascara

Seventeen eye shadow palette

No7 'beautifully matte' foundation

Seventeen nail polishes

-Soap and Glory 'thick and fast' mascara-
I had high hopes for this mascara. But quickly I found that the applicator was too big and difficult to use this made applying the mascara difficult and frustrating. The product itself is good but unfortunately the applicator lets it down.

-Seventeen eye shadow palette-
The pigmentation isn't great on this eye shadow palette I also find the shades hard to blend.

-No7 'Beautifully Matte' foundation-
This product is very drying due to the huge amount of coverage it offers and after a couple of hours I am left with orange patches all around my face.

-Seventeen nail polishes-
These nail polishes chip after a couple of days and are hard to apply due to a small brush. They require several coats to reach the colour desired.

What are your disappointing products?
